The Waiting Is Almost Over

The Good and Bad about a Possible Shortened Season

Well with CBA talks still continuing and having the small chance of having a hockey season, though likely a shortened one, I’d like to point out a few things on each side of the spectrum.

A Little Bragging Is In Order…

My alma mater, Creighton University, is doing quite well in their sports and I feel like a little bragging is in order.  8th ranked Creighton Men’s Soccer has made it to the College Cup (Final 4) for the second year in a row by knocking off #7 UConn 1-0 in a damn fine defensive game on Sunday afternoon in Connecticut.  13th ranked Creighton Mens Basketball absolutely smashed St. Josephs in their last game, having lead at one point by 34 and winning by 29 points.

There hasn’t been too much going on in sports that interest me, so I’ve been looking to other places to find a game to watch.

NHL Negotiations Beginning to Move Again?
